Police are investigating a “deepfake” audio mimicking London Mayor Sadiq Khan wherein he apparently says he needs Armistace Day moved.
Clips emerged on social media that used the London Mayor’s mannerisms and voice. In them, it performs down Remembrance Day and says it must be behind schedule every week.
The voice, which sounds very similar to Khan, may also be heard announcing “I do not give a flying s*** in regards to the Remembrance weekend.” In step with Sky Information, it continues: “What is essential and paramount is the only million-man Palestinian march takes position on Saturday.”
This can be a connection with the 1965 Million March, a civil rights protest in Washington DC attended through fundamental folks of color. In the meantime a big pro-Palestinian protest is anticipated to happen in London on Saturday.
Any other clip mimicking the London Mayor mentioned: “I do know we now have Armistice Day on Saturday however why must Londoners cancel the Palestinian march on Saturday?
